It’s hard to put into words what I am looking forward to the most! To sum it all up into one statement, I am looking forward to crossing off everything on my bucket list. There are so many opportunities to learn on this trip, from going on an actual African safari, to being immersed in a culture that is completely different then anything I have ever seen before. I feel that this will be an experience that will change my life and most importantly so many other people’s lives forever. The one thing that I am the most excited for is to walk into the school and meet the students that we will be teaching and learning from for a whole month. Everyday we will have the opportunity to teach students who truly love and appreciate learning. I can’t wait to see and meet the people of Tanzania.
I hoping from them I will learn the blessing that come with living simply. I feel that living in America we are surrounded by technology and fast pace living. I’m not insinuating that I don’t enjoy the life of America but I feel that I still have a lot to learn about what life is truly all about. Everyone I talk to keeps on saying that I will come back a new person and I really hope they’re right. I have so much to learn and I can’t wait to get there and soak everything in! Hakuna Matata!!!
